I love this sometimes school makes us conform to much, and +I think a lot of the things we learn in school we never use i.e. anything in math besides basic math and algebra. Pretty sure I'm never gonna have to us Pi ever again, or the Pythagorean theorem!!!

I absolutely love Mark Twain!! For about three years now the only quote I have on my facebook is "..but by-and-by she let it out that Moses had been dead a considerable long time; so then I didn't care no more about him; because I don't take no stock in dead people."

looking back now this quote may make me seem heartless, but I love it because of the context it is taken from. awesome.
I love the way he writes. The characters never fail to be real respresentations.
I also love Twain--and those sentences. As for your own, DP, very nice. Though it would be improved if you'd put a period on it. AQ
ReplyDeleteThat has always been one of my favorite quotes too. I hate the buerocracy of the school system, especially in college, but I really do love to learn. Stay away school and let us learn in peace! Education is great, society just tends to make it miserable.
